چکیده
We derive a formula for computing explicitly the optimal non-linear filter for a class of problems which admit finite dimensional filters. The result includes all known results of this kind as special cases.

Discrete-time Filtering for Linear Systems in Correlated Noise with Non-gaussian Initial Conditions: Formulas and Asymptotics
We consider the one-step prediction problem for discrete-time linear systems in correlated plant and observation noises, and non-Gaussian initial conditions. Explicit representations are obtained for the MMSE and LMMSE (or Kalman) estimates of the state given past observations, as well as for the expected square of their diierence. These formulae are obtained with the help of the Girsanov trans...
متن کاملApplication of Non-Linear Functions at Distribution of Output SINR Gaussian Interference Channels
We have examined the convergence behavior of the LSCMA in some simple environments. Algorithms such as Multi¬ Target CMA, Multistage CMA, and Iterative Least Squares with Projection can be used for this purpose. The results presented here can form a basis for analysis of these multi-signal extraction techniques. Clearly, the variance and distribution of output SINR obtained with the LSCMA is al...
متن کاملConditional Dependence in Longitudinal Data Analysis
Mixed models are widely used to analyze longitudinal data. In their conventional formulation as linear mixed models (LMMs) and generalized LMMs (GLMMs), a commonly indispensable assumption in settings involving longitudinal non-Gaussian data is that the longitudinal observations from subjects are conditionally independent, given subject-specific random effects. Although conventional Gaussian...
متن کاملJoint Tracking of Pose, Expression, and Texture using Conditionally Gaussian Filters
We present a generative model and stochastic filtering algorithm for simultaneous tracking of 3D position and orientation, non-rigid motion, object texture, and background texture using a single camera. We show that the solution to this problem is formally equivalent to stochastic filtering of conditionally Gaussian processes, a problem for which well known approaches exist [3, 8]. We propose a...
متن کاملNon-linear stochastic inversion of regional Bouguer anomalies by means of Particle Swarm Optimization: Application to the Zagros Mountains
Estimating the lateral depth variations of the Earth’s crust from gravity data is a non-linear ill-posed problem. The ill-posedness of the problem is due to the presence of noise in the data, and also the non-uniqueness of the problem. Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is a stochastic population-based optimizer, originally inspired by the social behavior of fish schools and bird flocks. PSO is ...
